Sept 28: Plains Peanut Festival
MAIN PARADE 11:00am, FREE
Come out and enjoy this popular annual festival in President and Mrs. Carter’s hometown.
EVENT INCLUDES
A One Mile Fun Run/5K Road Race; arts and crafts vendors; Peanut Pavilion exhibits; entertainment acts; street dance; President and Mrs. Carter’s book signings; and the highlight, Main Street Parade at 11 am.
Visitors can stay and hear President Carter teach Sunday school on Sunday morning at Maranatha Baptist Church.
